“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the Harrisburg community for the past three and a half years and “I would like to keep a seat at the table for you.”
A lot has been accomplished during these unprecedented times of a global pandemic, we can do more as I continue to hear from community members about conditional change and ways that we can improve our community.
Ranking high on the list are long and short-term COVID-19 recovery efforts. Harrisburg has already received half of the 5.3 million dollars from the federal government and must implement a plan by 2024, then spend the funds strategically by 2026.
At the core of my future service are the changing needs of our first responders both Police and Fire. Planning and development of our future Fire Station 1, coined “First Responder Command Complex” located off Robinson Church Road at Hwy 49. And the planning and development of the new Harrisburg Sherriff Office that will be in the new train station.
The growing Harrisburg Business Alliance makes me proud to live in Harrisburg. During my future service, I will continue to work with community business leaders, staff, and Council to come up with creative ways to fund “shovel ready dirt” that bring new business opportunities to Harrisburg while offsetting our residential tax base. I will also continue to keep developers accountable and work to find ways to improve our quality of life.
I believe the root cause of many perceived problems in our community stems from misinformation, partial information, and the lack of direct communication. If re-elected I will continue to pave ways for Government transparency, digital communications, and community education.
